2005 mini cooper with 93,000 miles. Stock ps pump failed in Oct. Failure mode was that it was stuck on constantly. I had that pump rebuilt by bba manufacturing. That worked great for one month. The pump failed again. This time a 30 amp fuse blew. I replaced the fuse. Power was getting to the pump but it was completely dead. Bba reman then sent me a new rebuilt pump from there inventory. That worked great for one week until it died again this morning. The fan is working. Am I a victim of bad luck with the remanufactured pumps or could something else be causing the pumps to fail?
