Engine Cut Off While Running... Then It Won't Turn Over!
Hey Guys,
I'm actually typing this from the USC library haha, but this has got me stumped. I was leaving my apartment for class today and my MINI (2005 CS) just decided to die on me. I don't mean stall... I mean die. As in it wont even turn over when I turn the key. Also there is no power to the car whatsoever.
Some Background on recent activity... I just recently installed a subwoofer in the car (about a week ago). Ive installed plenty before so I'm fairly confident that the wiring is spot on. I had to splice into the ignition from my head unit to get a remote signal (NOT for power haha, this was just so the woofer would know to turn on when the head unit came on), but it has been starting up fine. It is a fairly small sub (8"), so I dont think it wouldve drained my battery, especially not while driving. Also I was extremely low on gas when this happened, but that doesnt explain the lack of battery power.
I'm thinking fuse? I would love if a couple of you senior members would take a look at the post! WMW you out there?? haha
