Hello everyone. I want to introduce myself. My name is Joel and I'm a high school tech teacher and I just bought a 2003 Mini Cooper with a blow transmission. I have replaced the tranny and then I had a P0132. I bought a universal Bosch sensor and wired it in. Now I have a P0130. Someone said I should just buy the Mini O2 sensor and be done with it. I don't want to spend that much money if it won't fix the car. I hooked up my snap on scanner and the O2 seems to be fluctuating fine when the car is running. Anyone have any ideas to what can fix my problem. Before I fixed the tranny it didn't have any codes as far as I know.

Return the universal or exchange it for an exact fit. They should fix the issues.
No disrespect, but I know what the codes are and what they mean. I just want to make sure a OEM O2 sensor will clear the codes before I spend the +$200 on one.
You might be able to source one from a wrecked car on ebay. make sure it is a match for your vin though. only problem there is if it is no good you are out the cash.
