TPMS Question, 06' MCS, Aftermarket Wheels, no Lights?

Alright I searched, but most threads seem to be about people who get the TPMS light on, so here is my quick question.

I bought some aftermarket wheels and tires about 2 months ago. I had non run flat tires put on them and I put them on the car. Now I was expecting the TPMS light to come on since they don't have sensors in them, but I have gotten nothing.

No lights on and no sensors in the wheels. Is there anything I should be worried about? is the system not functioning? I don't want the light on, but I also want to make sure that every feature of the car is working properly.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Were they the same diameter wheel and tire combination as what you took off? If so, the computer won't realize that anything has changed as rolling diameters of all of the wheels/tires are the same.

the 2002-2006 cars use the ABS sensors to monitor the tire pressures via the difference in rolling diameters, so changing the wheels might not turn the light on.....

if it does, just reset it per the instructions in your manual.

there are no sensors in the wheels.

When i go summer to winter rims i usually do not get a light...
As said before, the computer counts rpms per rims....and compares the realitive rpms...looking for a sudden change of one in rellation to the others to determine if there is a flat or low psi tire.
