Replaced supercharger and water pump, car is overheating

So, I put everything back together after my charger swap and filled up the rad and the overflow tank. The car is overheating, I bled off I thought enough of the air as the front bleeder just bleeds coolant now? At idle it will sit for about5m, then the fans kick on and it over heats.

If I take it for a spin, it overheats instantly. What am doing wrong? I have no heat what so ever and the car is still over heating. Do I Still have air in the system? Anyhelp?

Thanks

There is a second bleeder screw in the hose on the pass side of the engine. Not too easy to see or get to. You need to give that a shot.

Airbubble...kinds matches the symptoms (overheating kinda quick...kinda acts like a failed waterpump). Might be a stuck thermostat, but try to rebleed it before digging deeper.
ofcourse this asumes all was reassembled the right way (belt routing, and other mechanical bits).

It sounds like there is some major blockage in the coolant system rather than just air.
I can only guess though. Could something accidently have fallen into the coolant lines or openings when you were working on the car and now could potentially be blocking it up? If the thermostat place was removed, was it placed back on correctly?
If you are confident that all was done correctly, then you need to keep bleeding it.
You can raise the front end up slightly to help drive the air out through the bleeders.
The Bently manual will show you where all the bleeders are. If the air bleeding doesn't work, then you are going to have to dig deeper by taking off some cooling system parts to better see what is going on.

I feel like a jackass now, I gave up last night at 1am since I felt defeated. I just got back down to the inlaws. I cracked that 2nd bleeder open, few sec later I got coolant. Car doesnt over heat now and I took it for a spin and its fine! Wow, it literally took me 15m to fix it today. Gonna keep an eye on it and see now it goes on the ride home. I think I am good though!.

Thanks for all the help guys. I would have never thought there was a 2nd bleeder on this car since No car I have ever had has had one.

You should be running the heat on full blast while bleeding to get the heater core involved too.

Yeah, I had the heat blairing before I started messing with it today. It was one of the things I didnt do last night. I just drove 40m home and its been fine. Once I felt heat coming out of the vents I knew I was heading in the right direction.

I'm glad you found the issue and resolved it... and don't beat yourself over the head. We have all been there....and how do you think the rest of the world resolves things. It just reinforces the saying that "knowledge is power". Keep livin and keep learning.
