Knocking Noise possibly front left - Any Ideas?

I've had this a while and cannot get booked in at the chap I would prefer who does track cars and is very thorough.

Mini could not find anything when it was in for the water pump recall but as I tend to do most things myself I think my local dealer is only happy to do recall and TLC work and no longer goes the extra mile on my car.

So just wondering if anyone else has experienced such noises. It has got worse on the drive home tonight.

I have had wheels off for cleaning and could not see anything suspect.

Running Bilstein PSS10 coilovers with adjustable top mounts and M7 J Brace if that helps???? 56 plate R56 with 55k miles on it.

I believe wheel bearings need replacing at some point so this may be a culprit at my mileage but not sure if a worn one would cause knocking. Thinking more balljoing or the bushing at rear of wishbone which I can imagine knocking when worn.

If anyone has any ideas what it could be I would appreciate it.

Also could be ARB bush????

Anyone know the correct Powerflex bush part for that area as intending to fit the Powerflex wishbone bushes and for ARB they state 2 sizes. Not sure which size MCS standard front ARB takes?

Not sure what your knocking sounds like exactly, but I had a pretty loud knocking in a Honda last year. Turned out to be the CV joint. The car only made the noise when turning though, not sure if yours is constant.

Do the standard tests for wheel bearings, CV-joints, and all ball-joints/unions and you'll find it quick.

It is like a knocking noise most noticeable at slow speed, on uneven road or when doing a manouvre like a 3 point turn.

It is like something has slackened off causing play and a knocking noise is how I would best describe it.

After 5.5 years and 55k miles it could be bearings, ball joint, bushes etc. I would have thought wheel bearings would be more of a hum noise than knocking but never experienced a worn one.
