Noise from brakes
Couldn't find anything in search.
Wasn't sure best place to post but will try here.
5 days into new Megan Racing Coilovers (about 300 miles on them).
Brake pads and rotors done and have about 5K on them).
Anyway, didn't notice any noise prior to today (Sunday).
What it does (and it's intermittent), mostly when letting up on brake pedal at stop I hear what sounds like something rubbing against thin metal. Goes away quickly. I heard it a couple times while stopping but like I stated it seems to be more prevailant when stopped and then letting up on brake.
Anyone know what it could be or maybe what to look at?
Checking here before I take it back to the shop.

I can't believe no one has had this issue.
Anyway, I decided to run it to a good power wash. Drove about 25 miles and after the washing (spraying the wheels good), the noise has stopped. At least for now.
Maybe it was just some crap stuck between the pads and the rotor.
If it does it again I'll jack it up and take wheels off. I've heard sometimes
a little rock can get inbetween the rotor and the backing plate and make a skeecking noise.

Update on my issue. Apparentlly, the power washing dislodged whatever in the brake pad/calipher/rotor because it hasn't made any noise since.
Moral of this story. If you get a weird squaking noise and you know your brake pads are good either give it a good power washer blast or take the wheels off and blow them out.
