FYI/DIY for anyone else that has had this issue.
My sunshade from sunroof pulled out of the channel holding
in taught. About an 8 in. section on both sides.
At first I thought it was ripped but after opening the front roof
all the way open to gain access to the channel I could see it just
pulled out.
FIX - a little Gorilla Super Glue squirted into the channel and then
take a credit card and work the material back in the channel. Let
it set up a couple of hours and good as new.
A lttle WD40 on the glide and good/better than new.

 

Just a little update on my fix. I must have gotten a little glue in the moving track now my shade won't slide. Oh well. At least the material is not hanging.
So, if anyone ever does this be very careful you don't get glue in the slide track.

You should use benzine glue... It is strong enough to hold the textile, but won't block the tracks.

 

Yea, I'm always a day late and a dollar short.
Maybe it'll break loose one day. No biggy, I never open
the shade anyway.
