Power Steering Pump Fan EHPS Problem

Power Steering Pump Fan EHPS Problem
Hello. I have a 2003 Mini Cooper S (Build date of 11/02), and I noticed the power steering pump fan was seized the last time I was under it for an oil change. I've replaced the fan, but I can't ever see it turn on.
From what I've read, if you turn the AC on, the fan should come on when the radiator fan turns on... but I get nothing.
I've checked all the fuses in the engine compartment, and in the fuse box in the cab by the drivers foot. Is there any way to debug this issue? I've read a bunch of the other links to forumns on here, but so far no luck.
I was going to check the relay thinking it was bad, and I found the following diagram showing the location for the EHPS relay http://tech.bentleypublishers.com/th...ssageID=318703
but I can't find it down there.
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

i tried turning the a/c on with recirc radiator fan turns on no steering fan. also waited til the radiator fan came on while running at temp still no steering fan. checked all the fuses in both fuse panels and found a 50 amp maxi fuse labeled for the radiator fan blown and replaced it still no luck. tested the fan (brand new from bmw) out of the car works fine. any advice would be appreciated.

Nitz,
If you find out the cause of your issue please post it here so I can try on mine. I plan to dig into my car next weekend, and if I can't figure out the real issue I'm just going to put in a manual switch to turn the fan on. I think that's better than not running the fan and risking burning up the pump.
