Rear Brake Pads

My rear brake sensor came on and I checked the brake pads and the rear INSIDE pad has about 1/3 less pad than the outside pad. Is this normal for the inside to wear quicker? Because the INSIDE wore out quicker, it tripped the sensor.

I run EBC Red's. Gonna order new rears today from Way. Fronts seem to be OK.

The slider pins have to be kept nicely lubed, did you check them?
I think they require high temperature copper grease.

+1

I had my car in for an oil change the other day and the mechanic pointed the same thing out on my car. I believe one of the pistons (pins?) got some gunk in it and therefore wouldn't retract, causing the uneven wear.

Can anyone point me where to get the instructions on greasing the pins.

There's some dis-assembly required like removing the caliper, but simply remove the guide pin - clean, grease, and reinstall.
