Soaked carpet

So my wife drives her 07 mcc about 300 miles today and when she's unloading the car she notices water under the mats front and back on the driver side only. About 90 degrees in the Midwest, a/c running all the time. We noticed some dampness when she got the car but wrote it off as wet from dealership detailing. Could this be from a/c condensation. We wet vacced and collected more than a quart of water. What say you?

If the MINI has a sunroof, check the drain tubes to see if they are clogged. When you open the glass, look for holes in the two front corners. It's harder to get to the rear ones, but they don't usually clog up. You can see the other end of those in the two corners when you open the boot.

You know... I was thinking about the AC. Only because the lines would develop condensation on the inside in older Chevrolets.

Finally got it back to dealer today. As suspected it was the a/c leaking inside the cab. Repair will be covered under warranty. The carpet was to be removed today to dry and inspect for mold or mildew. Hopefully it can be saved with a good cleaning. If it needs new carpet they say that is not covered, 380 dollars to replace. Yikes ! I won't give in easy. The dealership employees have gone to bat for us on several occasions and we're happy with how we've been treated. Have not seen anyone from management . They I guess are sort of like "The Wizard of Oz"! Hope I don't have to pull the curtain back!
