2003 Cooper Drivetrain issue?
I just recently replaced the clutch flywheel pressure plate and slave cylinder about 3 months ago. I was driving on the interstate going about 80MPH and the car lost all power to the pedel and dropped about 10MPH and then I regained power. (It kind of felt like the brakes engaged but I know they didn't) I was wondering if this might have been a gear slip because I've heard it make a slight grind noise from first to second before, if anyone has ever had this issue let me know. Also this is my first post on here so be nice!
Thanks in advance

Something like that would have nothing to do with the transmission, clutch, pressure plate, etc, unless when you lost power, the engine revs went up. That would be indicitive of a slipping clutch. I think you would have mentioned that though. Sounds more like an engine/sensor issue to me.

I was also thinking it might be the fuel filter or pump? loss a fuel meaning loss in acceleration? Correct me if I'm stupid though I'm just brainstorming I have no idea what it could be.

Fuel filter issues are usually reduced power.....
