a/c noise and now overheating

Hello guys, and thanks for any help in advance.

So I drove my 02 out to work and just as I was taking off, I heard a squealing noise for half a second. I knew it wasn't good so headed back toward the house and noticed the A/C wouldn't engage unless I revved up pretty high. Then I noticed the Hi/Low fans wouldn't kick on. Also, the car has been parked for about a month or so, and out of nowhere the car decided to leak coolant when the weather cooled down.

Does anybody have any clues to what happened, for my wallet's sake?

Just a WAG, but look at the crank damper and the belt....leak could be from anything else...
