I am planning on buying the tool needed for pulling the head and re-torquing the cam bolt. Of course, if anyone has one they would be willing to sell me, or possibly rent, I'd rather go that way. But this is one I found on ebay, not sure if it's worth the purchase, any thoughts?...

I've got the kit that you're looking for. You don't NEED this kit to install a cylinder head, or retorque the cam bolt. You are more than welcome to use it.
