Door Handle Button won't work for 1 remote only!
Here is my situation. I have comfort access and all of a sudden I can no longer lock or unlock the doors using the button on the handle. Comfort access works for everything else - starting the car, opening the boot, etc. The weird thing is that the button works with the second key fob. It's just the one that no longer works.
I tried changing the battery in the fob - no impact.
Any ideas? I miss my CA.
Thanks.

Just to provide closure on this....
Although one fob appeared to work for a time (while the other did not), eventually neither one worked. It took me awhile to get into the dealer - their answer was that the driver side un-lock button (on the door handle) was stuck in the pressed position. This was confusing the car.
They are replacing the entire handle (waiting for part) so I will let you know if it works.
I've often thought these buttons are not very sturdy. They don't really give much tactile feedback so you can't tell what is going on. If mine wore out after just 6 months, I don't have high hopes for an extended life on the CA.

In that sense: Don't let your wife and/or kids play with your mini...

I really only use 1 fob. When it stopped working I tried the spare one just to see if it was a fob problem. It did work a few times with the other fob but that may have been just a coincidence and maybe the button was getting unstuck at times.
We'll see if the new door handle fixes problem and for how long!
