Car having start issues

I've been having an issue with my car first starting up for a few weeks now, it only happens when the car is first started in the morning, I start the car and it dies, takes a few tries and some gas to keep the car running, once its warmed up it seems ok, I called Mini in regards to this, and they said it can be a carbon build up or some kind of high pressure problem???? Any suggestions? Its an 07 Cooper S with only a intake and boost installed. I dont feel like paying them 700+ to do a carbon clean.

Could be HPFP failure. Could be both, if its the HPFP it will be covered under warranty as long as your under a 100k in mileage. I wouldn't be surprised if its both, especially an 2007.

Boost gauge. Nothing else. What hpfp? I drove it again and the first start sounded like the battery was not good but I know it can't be that since it was replaced a year ago, this time it didn't die out since it was in the sun, seems like it happens when the car is cold. Once I drove to the store, it started like normal and drove normal. Is it worth taking to mini?
