How do I clear check engine light?
I took my 2007 R56 to the shop to have them check rough idle and service engine light. They determined it needed the o2 sensor replaced. I replaced it myself and now it is running fine again. I just need to know how to reset the check engine light. I have the K+CAN diagnostic cable and have used NCSExpert to code a few different things. Is there a way to reset the check engine liight with this tool? If so would somoene be so kind as to post a step by step for me?

INPA is installed along with NCS expert, you can read all of the codes (including ones that don't set the light) and see what is recorded, as well as clear the codes for every module on the car (it is fascinating really, there is so much recorded). INPA also allows for many other procedures, like resetting the windows, registering battery changes, diagnostics on every individual light, diagnostics on every indivdual HVAC, ABS, engine component. Like you can run individual pumps and motors, run sound tests on each speaker, etc.
Also, if you want a nicer interface, you can locate DISv57 and get that running.
