I live 6 blocks from where I broke down. Can I drive it home??

Probably should not drive it. Have crank pulley and belt tensioner checked, and yes it more than likely dropped in to limp mode, it is a great feature to help preserve your motor and causing further damage

I had it towed.. I've been paying for roadside assistance for 10 years so why not. Are these things that your above average shop can handle or should go to the nearest dealership (BMW.. MINI is 3 hours away).

Any thoughts on getting the "NEW OVERDRIVE WMW EXCLUSIVE" from Way? Im about to order the ATI standard sized, but the thought of extra HP for $25 more is appealing, but not if it does harm.

I remember reading something about AC/Alternator not being able to handle the extra torque, and oversized crank pulleys not being a good idea in general. Thoughts?
