2007 Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works no start
Hi
My Mini Cooper S R56 started the timing chain rattle noise. I bought a timing chain kit, and a cam timing tool kit from PROMINI to fix the problem. I unplugged the battery before the install, locked down the cams and the flywheel. Replaced all of the parts, and check the timing, everything was spot on. I put the car back together, tried starting the motor, the gauges turn on, and the motor turns over but doesn’t fire. I suspect no spark or fuel being delivered to the motor. I check all fuses and everything looks good. The car has a security system, which I suspect is the culprit. Any info on the cause of the problem and fix would be appreciated.
Thanks
