Service Engine Light help needed....

Hello Everyone,
New to this forum and I'd appreciate any help you can give. My wife's 2007 Mini had these lights show up today and I'm having trouble understanding the meaning of them.
I thought maybe the brake fluid was low but it looks good, any help you can give would be appreciated. (brake is not on and the brakes seem to be working fine)

Its telling you in check control that the vehicle is due for brakes. If the brakes and brake sensors are good then your vehicles cbs data is wrong and the vehicle will probably need to be reprogrammed. Its a known issue.

It puts the Mini on a tall proud column of marble and says! Look! This is a great Mini!

(Kidding, it means time for brake check)..

Here's the reset if you wish to bypass it... ( but look at the brakes first..)

I've tried the reset before and with that symbol, it would not even though I clearly had new brakes installed and fluids flushed. But either way, that light is gone and what replaces it now is a "SERVICE" light on startup. lol. Oh well.

Thanks to everyone for your help, so it isn't an immediate "fix me" type of issue where we shouldn't be driving it? We will have the brakes checked, and hopefully be able to reset the warning light.
