Both windows slow to go down

Both windows slow to go down
I swear I've found more issue with my wife's 2005 Mini S in 2 days than any other car haha.
Anyway, today I go to roll the driver side window down and had to push the toggle a couple times before it started to go down. I then tested with the passenger side with the same result. So I sat there playing with both windows.
Sometimes they will go down on the first click, sometimes it takes a couple clicks, and other times I can sit there pushing the toggle over and over with nothing. Surely its not both window motors. Could it be the control panel?! Id appreciate any input.

Can you elaborate on the MCAW, what should I look for? Thanks!

Check the toggle bank, sometimes people spill stuff from the large cup holder and get sticky residue on the toggles or even messes the toggle bank up. A cue tip with some alcohol as great for cleaning around the toggle from the outside. Looks for residue of spilled drinks.

Also check your battery. Might be a good thing to put a load tester on it to see if its on its way out.
For them both to have the same problem it must be linked like there not enough current. Do the other interior electronics function slowly?
Also this is stock problems for Gen 2 , you need Gen 1 . Hopefully the moderator will move the thread for you.
Thanks

Also check the back of the switch block, on older cars we have seen the tabs that hold the case together break and this allows the case to open a bit when moving the toggles. Put your hand behind the switch case and work the swithces, the case shouldn't open with toddle movement.
These cars are little demons I say. My 05 STi in its modded glory has never given as much as a headache as these. Not this issue so much, but others. I appreciate the feedback, and if a mod would be so kind to move this thread as apparently I have my generations mixed
