R53 engine rattle 3000 to 3500 rpm

Hello all.

Proud owner of a r53 uk plate MCS with 50k on the clock. Recently experienced an engine rattle between 3000-3500 rpm under load in any gear.
Oil is up to level so no ideas there.
I've heard of the tensioners go and cause vibrations
I've also posted it on the mini forum but no help hence asking you guys

Any ideas would be great, I've also managed to track down a YouTube video of a r53 exhibiting the same noise

Crank pulley? or maybe just a loose heat shield??
Some of the older guys on here should be able to give you a better insight.

I did wonder if that was the case, I've also had that noise relate to the timing chain tensioner as its definitely on that side of the engine, I can build the revs up and past that point gradually. No noise but when it's given some gusto it shows itself, which would lean to pinking maybe.
I'm running Bosch 4 point plugs and Ron 99 fuel (the nice stuff)
It's booked in next week to get my local garage to have a look under te warranty I got with it. I'd like to give them something to concentrate their efforts on and keep my costs down
