Sticking Throttle

I have a 2012 MCS with approximately 17,000miles on it. I am experiencing issues with "runaway" rpms when I am in Sport Mode.

Normally, this will occur between third and fourth gear. I will shift about 4,000 rpms. When I push in the clutch, the rpms will increase roughly 1,000 to 1,500 rpms and then return normal. Today, it did this in second gear without the clutch pushed in. The car simply started to accelerate without my input. Both conditions only last about a second or two.

Any input would be appreciated.

my 2011 does this, only seems to happen if you give it gas with the clutch pushed in before the rpm's are allowed to settle down to idle. typically this happens only during warm up for me and is nowhere near a safety issue or concern IMHO. it can happen for a second in 2nd gear during warmup but thats it..
