ok book time on to replace the Crank Position Sensor (CKP) is 2.1 flat rate hours. This involves removing the front bumper cover and support, and sliding the radiator support into service position, thus the labor time. Currently, I've been replacing the o-ring without doing any of that in less than 1/4 the time. Youll need a combination of the following tools to not fuss with the bumper cover: 1/4 ratchet, 2 inch extension with a deep 10mm 1/4 drive socket OR 4 inch extension with shallow 10mm, #2 philips, a light, a good sense of touch, and some brake cleaner.

Personally, I don't like messing around, so I just removed the front bumper, support and the upper radiator hose and pulled the rad away to gain access to it. May sounds overkill, but I did the same when I replaced my alternator. I'm used to work on a lift (mechanic), so at home, I'm on the floor and I don't like wasting my time working in restricted spaces :p In all honesty, if you're a bit handy, check the how-to and do it yourself, you'll save money to spend somewhere else. It's really only a matter of removing a couple parts (putting it in service mode or going mad like me), unplugging the sensor, removing the bolt holding it to the block, pulling the crank sensor, replacing the seal and putting everything back together.
