Base vs. S Hub Assembly

Anyone know if there is a difference between a base model and S hub assembly? Basically, will a base model hub fit an S? Thats whats Im getting at haha.

I know in the Subaru world, a WRX vs an STi have different bolt patterns. Couldnt find anything specific on the Minis. Thanks!

I looked at Front hubs for 2005 model year.

The part number of Genuine MINI brand hub/wheel bearing assembly is the same for the Cooper S and Cooper.

I didn't look up the rears, I'm 99.9% positive they're the same too.

I think you just need to watch out for year to year differences. I believe that the diameter of the lug bolt changed at some point -I'd have to look it up again, but I believe late in 2006 / 2007. -They make lug bolt conversion kits now too.

I like to look stuff up cause it helps me to be knowledgable about my own car.

BTW, a couple of the sources I use often are the catalog at ECStuning.com and also http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do
