R56 Engine Malfunction Fault: Help Decoding Codes
All, I recently experienced the dreaded "Engine Malfunction" error that forces the car to run in a degraded performance mode [eg, no turbo]. I received the code twice in the past three days [cleared itself in between]. Both times were under hard acceleration. This leads me to believe core functions such as fuel/spark/air [as opposed to sensors].
I pulled the car in the garage and went through the magic nonsense to pull both the OBD codes and the "special" codes from Menu 14. Sadly, there are _no_ OBD codes. I even verified with a code reader from an auto shop. No OBD codes. However, there are four error codes from Menu 14.
They are as follows:
931B h
A559 h
931F
9314
Any thoughts on how to decode such things?
My plan is to pull the plugs in the morning and see if they're dirty or fouled. I only use 93 octane fuel from Shell, so I don't believe this is a fuel quality issue. I need to replace the air filter, which I'll also do tomorrow, but I can't see an air filter causing such havoc. Might be the high or low pressure fuel pumps. I hope its not the carbon build-up issues found on many R56's.

Quick update. I swapped plugs and the air filter this morning. The plugs were nasty and I believe original [NGK]. I drove for ~12 miles and added some fuel system cleaner. The code still remains.
I'm going to try disconnecting the battery, then reconnecting and see if the system resets.
At this point, I have no idea what's going on. I did, however, get a few of the codes decoded:
A559
Clamp 30g_f cutoff
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed
EXPLANATION: Pulled fuse out behind glovebox during tune install.
FIX: Make sure fuse is inserted. Clear and rescan.
931B = Open circuit in the ambient temperature sensor or in the wiring harness between the ambient temperature sensor and the instrument cluster
