Brake Rotor and Sensor Part #'s

I have a 2010 Clubman S and I need to change the pads, rotors and sensors. I have the pads and am looking on www.Rockauto.com for the other parts.

Can someone tell me what the part #'s that are needed for the rotors and sensors?

Also, are there 3 sensors or 4? Thanks in advance

There are 2 sensors actually, one on the front left pad and one on the rear right pad.

I have an 05/2008 build Cooper S Hatchback, so if the sensors are the same this is the part number for the front: 34356789329 and this is for the rear 34356789330

Front rotors: 34116774986 Rear rotors: 34216774987

You can get quality rotors for fairly cheap but they are not OEM. Look into Centric rotors, they make Stoptech products but are the OEM focused product line.

We have a great selection of rotor and pads options. Here ar the part number and options.

There is a year split on the sensors in 8/2010.

Brake Pad Sensor - Front ( one for the front )

&

Brake Pad Sensor - Rear ( one for the rear )

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/34356789330/

-----------------------------------------------

For Pads we have multiple brands and have them in front and rear kit.

The rotors are for the stock rotors and not the JCW sport brake kit "larger 12.44" ( 4 piston front caliper ).

MINI part # 34116774986 is the older part number which was super-ceded to 34116858652 . Things can still be found under the older part.

Front Brake Rotors - Pair 11.57" (294x22) Part number 34116858652

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/34116858652/

We also have almost full coverage of ECS Geomet Cross Drilled / Slotted or just Slotted rotors , you will see them under the same category. Very popular and the coating protects against rust and corrosion.

And for the rear rotors : MINI part # 34216774987

Rear Brake Rotors - Pair 10.19" (259x10)

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/34216774987/

Also for the rear ECS Geomet Cross Drilled / Slotted or just Slotted rotors , you will see them under the same category.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

For the brake pads again you will need the stock size 34116778320, on the stock pads ( non JCW ) they are up to 8/2010 production, for aftermarket or ones with out the shims , you reuse you shim clips, top and bottom, make sure to clean them good.

Some aftermarket don't come with the shims so you reuse your old ones.

Here is the rear:

Brake Pad Set - Rear Part # 34216778327 Up to 8/2010

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/34216778327/

And I would also replace and dap some anti-seize on the new brake rotors screws, you will need 4 , one per rotors. They take a T50 torx and the old ones can be a trouble to take off if they are rusted , use a torx bit socket and a good ratchet.

Thanks and I hope that helps.

Thanks. Stupid question though, how do I know which side of the split I have?

Use this website and enter the last 7 digits of your VIN

http://www.bmwarchive.org/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html

It'll tell you the build date and that's what you use to determine. But if yours is model year 2010 then it's more likely that you are on the earlier side of this split.
