IAT abnormally high at idle?

03 R53with 75k

Car gets put away for winter but still gets started and driven up and down the driveway once a week.

The past 4-5 times I've let it warm up, I notice on the scangauge2 that my IAT is strangely high. Like, it's 30*F outside, and even with the hood open, it's reading between 80*F - 90*F for IAT.

Maybe this is normal? It just seems odd because the FWT stays right netween 190*F - 205*F.

I don't have gauges for Oil Temp/Pres, but I put fresh oil in less than 100 miles ago. The coolant was flushed and filled less than 3k miles ago.

I do have a Megan header, and Alta Intake, as well as the M7 aerogel heat shield that sits on top of the stock heatshield. I'm curious if this is keeping the heat away from the I/C and rest of the engine bay, in turn roasting my f*ckin power steering resevoir and intake. I don't think the Alta box should be hot to the touch in 30*F with the hood open.

Any ideas?

Car is not moving....
So IC cannot work....
It gets heat-soaked....so hi IAT!!

One tip...
Idling a car that has been stored is pretty bad...the oil temp does not get hot enough to boil of built up water and moisture....
If you are gonna start the car...DRIVE IT.
