P1242 on 2006 MCS

The SES light turn on and code P1242 was logged. I traced a broken Pressure pipe P/N 11651504943 which I then replaced. The SES light went away but the error code did not go away and unable to clear it.

Any ideas? are there other areas I should look for problems?

I am curious how you traced it to the pipe. I just did a SC oil change along with a new water pump, valve cover gasket, clutch and various other items Getting same code and trying to figure it out.

I was working on that area so I went back and retraced my steps and found the broken piece. It guess it was so brittle that I broke during reassembly

Do I have to take the SC off again to check it or can you get to it just in Front End Service mode?

I never removed the intake duct - what does the other end of the pipe go to that is not the intake duct?

used a curved forcep (about 12-16 in long) to reach down to the duct to squeeze and free up the pipe. no need to disassemble again.
