Coolant coming from reservoir

Hi all!

New the forum, thanks for having me.

Here is what I've got going on:

About a year ago I had all the cooling hoses, water pump and thermostat replaced on my 03 Mini Cooper S because it was leaking coolant from the water pump. Everything has been fine until I was sitting in the driveway listening to the radio with the engine running for about 5 mins before I went into the house. I got out and the fan kept running for a solid minute. I looked underneath and there was a small puddle of coolant. It was obviously coming from the reservoir itself (couldn't tell if it was boiling over or leaking from the seams of the tank) It was a fairly cool day and the temp gauge never moved past normal. I've been checking the coolant daily since then and it seems to be dropping a little bit every day but the temp gauge never goes above half way. I've also checked the oil and it's nice and clean at a normal level.

Any suggestions on what it could be?

why are you certain that it is coolant and not condensate from the a/c system?

It's definitely not A/C condensation. I soaked it up with a towel and verified it's coolant.

Cap? split seams? Permanent Fix: Canton or RMW coolant tank w/ real caps.
So worth the money.
