Need a little help

My Mini Cooper broke down a little while ago and before it broke down the ASC light came on and I couldn't switch it off. Now I'm in the process of buying everything I need to get her road worthy. So far ive Ordered oil filter housing, timing chain tensioner, and an o ring for crank position sensor. And I'm trying to figure this problem out which I cannot, can someone help me figure this out

What codes showed up? Have you checked wheel speed sensors?

DSC light can be tripped by a number of things...
Mine came on just a couple days before the t-map failed...and would relight one cycle before the check engine code would appear....
But there are different items in the DSC system that can trip it...like the DSC computer, an angle sensor, etc...
A failed wheel speed sensor USUALLY gives you a "trifecta" of lights, since the tpms on the gen1 and abs uses them...
Till you get the code, don't waste your money throwing parts at it....
And the DSC and ASC systems are VERY similar, DSC just had a few more capabilities and was slight more advanced, offered as an option on most years, and part of many packages. Most of what you read about trouble shooting DSC will work for asc,...not 100%, but most stuff.
