Automatic Transmission Problems 2006 R50
So yesterday, my transmission was making a grinding noise for the first time whenever I accelerated. I got home as soon as possible and stopped driving it. This morning, I wen to go somewhere and I cant get power to the wheels. The engine runs, but I cant accelerate. I am able to reverse just fine, but I cant drive forward. I have a couple questions.
1. A cursory google search seems to indicate that this is a common problem. There were even some class action lawsuits filed. Do i even qualify to participate? I have an r53 2006 non-s model (i think its an r53)
2. Does anyone have a similar experience that can lend some advice?
3. All else failing, what is the cheapest way to get my transmission fixed. Id like to avoid a complete rebuild if possible.
