R53 MINI Cooper S clutch upgrade

I've searched threads and I can't really get any clutch reviews. My MINI has started showing some clutch issues so I'm looking into replacing the clutch. My question is who's done the swap from a stock dual mass flywheel to a single?

The Valeo Clutch conversion kit is a great setup, and converts you from dual mass to single mass.

We install it in near every R53 that comes into the shop for a clutch.

If you're looking for the bees knees of clutches there is the OS Giken clutch line.

I have and it was a noticeable upgrade. I would do it again in a heartbeat. It's also a great time to swap out your lower control arm bushings, sway bar bushings and steering rack bushings to PowerFlex.

I have the valeo kit, I love it so far, cant tell how much power it will hold since I haven't gone BVH yet, but right now its good, much better feel and actually runs smoother. I think this fly wheel is balanced to a tighter spec than the dual mass
