02 Cooper S

My 2002 Mini Cooper S is being the biggest SOB lately, I was having problems with my oil pressure and it ended up being the oil filter housing now that I've got that out of the way the ASC light turned on and will not shut off. So I bought a OBD2 scanner iCarsoft i910 specifically for minis and BMW's. And when I plug it into the OBD port it doesn't power up, there's no power running to the port which is either a fuse or the wires are corroded for the OBD port. I'm figuring they're corroded due to when I first purchased the car the tube that was connected to the drain in the sunroof wasnt connected and draining down the side of the fuses and wires into the driver side footwell. but I'm Mind boggled on how I fix this and I will start with the fuse so if somebody could tell me which fuse connects to the OBD, and if its not the fuse could you point me in the right direction in fixing my problem so I can use the code scanner. Thank you

Did you fix the basic module or replace it part # 61356982114 ? Did you inspect the area for wire corrosion ?

Sometimes the code scanner take a couple times to read like the actron unit. Unplug , plug back in and try it again. Mine last time took 3 times to read. Try with ignition turn on it #1 location before start up.

Also check every fuse in the kick panel fuse box and also check the fuses near the intake, small box.

Thanks and good luck.
