Checking for Boost Leak

Is there a process on the N14 engine to see if you are losing boost to a possible leak? I though there was something about it but I can't seem to find the info on the process. Something like a PVC port you put on the turbo inlet to check? While my nGauge (OBD based) reads I am generating boost (20 psi or so on DNA stage 3) I don't feel like that is actually what I am getting. There is a slight high-piched whine/air hiss that I hear under acceleration (not the typical CAI draw) and I would like to see if I can pinpoint if there is a leak by doing a boost check.

Any ideas?

My last dyno check, the guys connected an air hose to the CAI inlet and added pressure. Leaks can be traced that way, if you have patience and someone else to help. You need to be acrobatic ---

These cars are very temperamental if there is a boost/vacuum leak, but I would say start with checking all the connections of the charge piping for oily buildup, and if that checks out to move onto using a smoke machine to check for air leaks.

I've caught myself thinking there is an issue with my cars, when in reality there is nothing wrong, but being preventive is prosperous in the long run.
