anything behind Idler Pulley?!?

Does anyone know what sits behind the idler pulley? While I was driving the idler pulley seize and it got spun right off. Towed it home and found it laying on the bottom. I got the new idler pulley but found out that there are two holes where the idler pulley sits. Is there something missing in between the idler pulley? a dowel pin? a bushing?

You removed the engine for an idler pulley replacement ? That is the crank pulley you are pointing to....

sorry, not my picture and not my finger pointing at crank. I know what the crank is. Look at what is circle in blue. The two holes where the Idler Pulley sits over. I'm just curious if there were anything sitting behind that pulley.

Nothing sits behind the idler pulley, there is the bolt, a dust shield, the pulley, and a captive spacer behind it, which all stays together as an assembly unless you unscrew the bolt from the captive spacer, (or it self destructs).

We have the idler pulley in stock: Gates Idler Pulley.

Let us know if we can help.

Thanks,
Nick

True, he is pointing at the crank pulley. However, the area highlighted in blue is where the idler pulley mounts.
