One tip...
To get the pump changed under warrenty, mini usually needs the car overnight...
And the price of the pumps have come down so far, a couple hundred bucks, many that use indy shops are just getting them done in a couple hours, and paying the extra $$ to not deal with the dealer...
The site linked to above even has a indy shop saying he can get the pumps for a couple hundred bucks, and change it in about an hour if I recall....a huge change from a few years back when the hpfp was $$$$.
