sucking jet pump
My brakes suddenly went very firm and I discovered at some point someone broke the hard line part of the sucking jet pump and then tried to fix it with epoxy and rtv. I have the replacement part, only 1 of the 3 ends uses a hose clamp, how do the others come off. I only found 1 other post that said to push down on manifold side connector but what about the connector going to the brake vacuum line? Appreciate any help or pointers!!!

What the ?!?!
Thought from the title the op would be taking about a fuel pump...
Guess the description is just very bad...
To the op...
Use some pictures....
Since your "terminology and parts names" are inaccurate enough to make ones head spin...
Kinda hard to picture stuff in ones head with made up names with no pictures....

Yes that is the sucking jet pump. There are 3 lines. The O.P. has it correct. One side uses a hose clamp. The sidegoing to the brake booster has a red tab in it. Just press the tab in fully and GENTLY separate the line. The last line goes under intake tubing. This line has yet another style of release tab on it. This one has a release ring. Gently press down the ring and remove the line. Hope this helps. I did mine about 5 months ago.

Fozzy, thank you for the helpful information, I really appreciate it. I would have replied earlier but had an emergency with the family that kept me away from the computer for a while.
To the rest of the ignorant AHOLES that could offer no help but had no problem with making fun of me below is a picture of what I am talking about....right from a sponsor's website.
Guess my ""terminology and parts names" are inaccurate enough to make ones head spin..." was really not that after all. Maybe if you all would spend 5 minutes with google or realOEM before insulting others new folks would stick around here for a while, guess I need to go to the "friendly MINI community" if I have a question that requires some actual help.

Broken sucking jet pump
Hi,
I broke the sucking jet pump at the T junction by mistake while trying to put in a new air filter had difficulty removing the box, then I discovered the torque screws to the air box were not securely tightened and they just spin so the last time I had the air filter replaced the dealer did it, I'll have to bring that to their attention that the air box is not securely tightened.
for the jet pump I secured it with electrical tape and epoxy so I can drive it to the dealer. Does anyone know how big of a job it is to replace this? How much labor would a dealer charge for something like this?
Thanks in advanced

Hi Fozzy,
Thank you for the quick reply, 30 min doesn't sound bad, does the engine have to come out or can the hose be inserted from underneath the car? I'm going to see how much labor the dealer will charge for something like that I can see most of the hose but not the part that goes down into the black part attached to the super charger.
