Rough Idle with breaking and lights

So... new addition to my many problems. My idle is rough to start.

What I've done
Spark plugs
Cleaned coil ends
fuel filter

Currently at a stoplight, turning any accessory on will make idle shakes worse.

also, when coming to stop and in neutral, apply the brakes makes idle worse.

Alternator, battery, vaccum? but which? arggg....

Any CEL? It could be a vacuum leak and if you can maybe smoke test the system.

Any burning rubber smells? Could be your crank pulley coming apart.

When did it start, why did you replace what you did?

So took it into a trusted british shop in Marin. Hooked up a real nice scan tool to it, Fuel and Air are doing great. O2s are reading clear and well, even after 125k. I do remember now, after changing my tensioner for the second time, a little bit of fluid spilled from the bottom bolt of the hyrdraulic engine mount after removing it. So my guess it, when I brake all the engine vibrations are running through the chassis since the calipers are gripped on the rotors and running through the running gear to the frame etc... Guess I'll be replaceing that. Maybe a tsw.... don't have money for a vibratechnics.

One of the most common parts to deteriorate on the MINI are the engine mounts. The rubber that is contained within the mounts becomes old and brittle, and doesn't perform a good job of isolating the drivetrain from the rest of the chassis. This eventually can cause a whole host of problems and cause wear to other critical components. We have a great DIY that can help you tackle this job if you want to do it yourself to save some money. Upgrading may be a good idea otherwise we have some here. Hope this resolves your issue! If you need anything or have any questions let me know.

Hey Pelican,

I replace upper torque mount, lower engine mount and hyrdraulic frame mount about a year or so ago. When i had my mechanic swap the clutch i had him check the trans mount, said it was fine, and installed some poly bushing supports as well.
