R53 Engine/ front end vibration

I have a 2005 R53 Cooper S (120K mi.). Recently I have a vibration in the front end when I stomp on the gas pedal above 3000 rpm and it goes away below 3000 rpm. The mechanic replaced the crank damper, shock top mounts and a bushing on the right side. Also I have new tires. The vibration is still there after all the work was done and I was wondering if the tires are maybe irregular above 3000 rpm. The tire dealer has rebalanced twice with no change. I can't seem to get any satisfaction from these mechanics they all say that they acknowledge the vibration but without any remedy forth coming. Note- the control arm bushings were replaced 6months ago with the old tires-no vibration. If anyone can recommend a course to pursue or knows of a good mechanic in Orange County CA.

R53 Engine/ front end vibration

Thanks Sevin. I assumed the mechanic checked the motor mounts when he did the other work. I will now have him recheck the mounts.

Thanks

Is there a write up on changing motor mounts?
Im getting some thumping from the front and it goes away when I change the trans mount. Did that 3 times and the yo-yo effect goes away for a few months then comes back. Thinking the other 2 mounts have had it.

It's pretty easy on a 1st gen, pelican auto has a writeup on there site. But going by your signature you have a 2011? Wrong generation for this section

Yes, we have a tech article on our site. Says you have an R56 in your signature, but this is the first gen MINI section. We have them for both.

If you go to our site HERE, click on the "Tech Info" tab at the top. That will bring you to the gen 1 MINI articles and the mounts are under Engine. If you need them for an R56 click on the R56 articles and the mounts will be under Engine as well.

Check over all your suspension components including the ball joints. I have seen signs of vibration due to axles before. If everything checks out, I'd check out your axles. Some info here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ml#post3093771
