09 Cooper no warning chimes

Ok so there is nothing wrong with the mini this week apart from the radio not working for the last few months but......
Now none of the warning chimes work, when you put the key in no sound, leave the seat belt off no sound, leave the lights on no sound.

The car runs and drives as normal - no warning signs.

Any idea's"

Have you had your battery tested? I know it sounds odd, but battery failure can bring on some strange symptoms in these MINI's. Check battery and connections.

Yea, sounds like a battery on its way out, have you load tested it or read the voltage ? The cables have to be secure on the post and should not move and set flush.

+1 Batteries can inhibit all sorts of weird electrical gremlins so this is a good first place to start. A normal reading would be about 12.6 volts. I've seen anything 12.2 and lower as a bad battery. Make sure the connections are nice and clean as well. A poor connection can also cause some issues.
