Driver door won't unlock with fob.

Do you hear it make a noise at all from the driver door when you click the button? It could be the actuator going bad. I'd pop off the panel and make sure there isn't any issues with the cable first and then investigate further. Actuator here if neeeded - http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...-0-556-768-INT

It's probably the actuator that is your cause. I'd pull off the door card and investigate further. As you can see below it's been a discussed issue many times before.

The OEM actuators in the first generation cars were totally "built by the lowest bidder" items and just weren't up to the task in the long run. When they fail they still make noise like they are working but they are too weak (the motors are) to actually move any mechanisms. Plus, they fail in weird ways like you described- toggle will lock, key fob press won't unlock, things like that.
The replacement ones are built to a higher standard in my opinion- they just look better built and sound better once they are installed. They sound like they have some muscle to do to job, not like the OEM ones which sound like they are pleading for every lock and unlock cycle to be their last.
Definitely open the door and make sure all the cables are in place and if so then go ahead and get the actuator for whatever door this is. They are different from right to left.

Door lock issues
Question on this topic, I’ve had an 05 r53 for a few months, doors wont lock or unlock with the fob but the lights will flash as though it’s working, cannot hear any noise from either actuator so I got New ones. I installed the driver one and still no change. I’m in the auto business so I know Usually how this stuff works but I know German can be difficult. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Did you check to make sure the center toggle bank work and connected?
