new brakes and sensor, still have low pad indicator

So I have a 2008 r55 and I changed the brakes out this morning along with a new rear sensor. I cycled through the menu and tried resetting the service light. I held the button at the end of the blinker toggle and got the little rotating clock symbol next to the reset indicator. But nothing. I used this video as reference and followed exactly. Along with a few others.

It won't reset and I still have the stupid warning everytime. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've searched and searched... Sorry if it's a repost but I have tried finding anything. I've restarted the car on off on off... drove it for awhile etc. Thanks for everyone's help!

Chris

I checked and it still looked good. The pic on the dash shows the rear of the car when I try and reset also. Does that matter? Should I just change it out anyway? Pad life is at 80 percent left on the front

Check the rear sensor , it may have tried or the plug socket is not all the way in on the plug, it has to click / snap.

No, don't change out the fronts. If it shows the rear, it's the rear. I'd check the new wear sensor. Make sure it looks good and isn't damaged.

I'll check it out after work. Make sure it's clipped all the way in and not damaged. Will report back then lol. Thanks for your help so far. Hopefully I just didn't fully clipped in.

No problem. Be sure to report back on how it looks. We have a tech article on our site that shows you how to test the sensor too if needed.

Tried that, and the alternate way of using the bc button to cycle through to get to the service menu. Still no luck.
