Impossible retaining clip to find?

I had to replace my knock/ping sensor on my R53 cooper s there was a little retaining clip that held the plug into the socket and it has walked away. I called the dealer and I have to buy an entire wiring harness for the engine to get it. Does anyone know where I can get one!!!????

Way motor works usually has used parts he can grab, or maybe someone like Detroit tuned will have one for you.

Ya, I'd give some MINI specialty shops a call as they sometimes have MINI's there that they're parting out. You can also try and search through a local yard to see if you can find a MINI in there with the part you can snag off of.

I believe that those connectors are not just MINI-specific but are used on a variety of European vehicles, mostly BMW. Take down the nomenclature on the connector, pin count, etc. so you'll know which one you're looking for.

Hello, if you can get me a picture of what you need I can definitely see if I have one for you!
