Well the gauges are working more frequently now.

I twisted the twin gauge pod in a clockwise direction and they started working again.

LED Displays are lit up but the Tach/Speedo work only after 930 AM....

Next will be the hammer

Did you ever figure out what is going on?

i have a 2005 R53 that the speedo and tachometer freeze when accelerating past 5500rpm.
Most of the warning lights come on also and I lose power steering. Everything comes back when rpms drop. It takes a few seconds for power steering to come back.

Any ideas?!

I suspect your alternator is on the way out as the symptoms would suggest. Possibly the brushes are so worn that at higher RPMs they start to lose contact with the copper slip rings.

I agree, sounds like the alternator going out.

I wonder it could be the belt slipping or harmonic pulley starting to fail?

My issue is still intermittent; every week or so I give a gauge cluster a twist when they stop working and all is fine for a while.
