Seat Belt Air Bag Light

Hey!

I have a non-clearable seat belt tensioner code for my passenger seat. My family friend/mechanic has a pretty advanced OBDII code reader, he said there were 3 fault codes all related to passenger seat belt.

I ran the car without the seats plugged in by accident, is it possible all I did was trip some weird unclearable codes?

He said I needed a new seat belt tensioner on the passenger side, but he's not a BMW/MINI/European mechanic.

How do I troubleshoot if I can't clear the code?

Do you have the code numbers? Also, both seats out when the car was turned on, or just one?

Look at the seat belt tensioners (where the buckle locks in) are they compressed or is the accordion sleeve around them still showing?

If the tensioners are still intact you may need to review the connectors under the seat, or even in the seat depending on how rough you played with it.
