Traction control engages in highway and hills (flat and dry)
Hello there,
I have a 2006 Mini Cooper S, automatic, with about 71K miles.
Last night and continuing today, my DSC light flashes while driving in otherwise unremarkable conditions. Flat dry highways and dry inclines alike trigger it, as well as turns and straight driving. There isn't really a reason that I can think of that it would trigger.
Things that I think would relate to my issue:
Tire pressure?
Loose wiring for sensors?
Damaged sensors?
Tires not actually gripping (balding)?
All of the reading I've done so far relates to other lights going off as well, but I don't get any other lights. Just occasionally the light flashes in situations that wouldn't have me thinking "whew, good thing I have traction control".
