Proper fix for window whistle

I used the search engine, read all i can.

So i get a bad whistle from the passenger window at 70+
I looked at the windshield A pillar trim and it had huge gaps between the cover and the window. The driver side is tight and right. Passenger is also cracked in the middle but not broken. I have this urge to put a small glob of silicone and press it all back together... but want to know what the proper repair would be for this. It seems to be firmly mounted on.

I had that problem. I reinstall the glass forward and it got rid of the whistle

This is all you need. It's very simple to do. You pop off the beauty trim... slide this on on the crank to loosen... adjust... and then tighten.

Amazon Amazon

I was all wrong on this, thinking I needed fresh seals. I decided to keep the tool for future use.
