can't fix this problem on 02-04 mini?

I've read some thread and realized that it happened only to 02-04 mini cooper s. first of all, 2 of 7 it stalls when it starts up and starts right up on second try.
my 2003 Cooper does this basically year round. Upon starting, it will idle ok and even go a short distance before the bogging down happens. For example, where I work there is a stop sign at the end of the row I park in. The car will start up fine, run fine to the stop sign, but when I stop, it will try to stall (and actually has 2 or 3 times). I have to blip the throttle. Then that solves it and it runs fine the rest of the time. anybody knows how to fix it? I currently replaced fuel filter however, nothing's different.

Have you checked the By-pass Valve? You may also have some vacuum leaks.

Check the By pass valve first. Are you getting a yoyo from the throttle?
