Replacing Knock Sensor on 2003 MCS

Hey guys,

After popping 2 P0326 codes and reading many posts about the knock sensor, I decided to look for mine. It's easy to find the connector and follow the wire, but what the hell, it's not connected to anything! I can't tell if the mice got it or it rubbed on something, but it's totally cut in half. Needless to say, I'll replace it, unless anyone thinks I could mend the wire, as replacing sounds like a front-end rebuild job. However, if I do have to remove the front face, supercharger, radiator, etc., what else should I replace while I'm in there. I have 110,000 miles on the 03 S.

Thanks,

JT

Nope, not yet.

I found the other end of the wire and all I can see is the very end, so no way to mend it.

Thanks
